Ultraviolet electrodeless lamp excited by microwave is a source system of ultraviolet radiation by using microwave to excite electrodeless mercury lamp. Driven by high voltage DC power supply, the microwave emitted by magnetron is fed along the waveguide to the microwave resonator composed of reflector and shielding net, which excites the polarless mercury lamp in the resonator to emit ultraviolet rays. Ultraviolet radiation is reflected directly or through a reflector and converges in another focus. Microwave-excited ultraviolet electrodeless lamp can be used in ultraviolet cross-linked cable manufacturing device. The infrared component of microwave ultraviolet light source is small, which reduces the probability of thermal damage of products. The diameter of lamp tube is small, the focus spot is small, and the irradiation processing efficiency is higher. Because the lamp has no electrodes, fast start-up, stable output and longer life, it can reach 6000 to 8000 hours.
